Helloooo Two Buck Chuck

I've been sick, miserable for the past few days, but nothing was stopping me from a grocery stop at the newly opened Trader Joes in Mt. P.

Ever since moving to lovely Charleston, it's rare that I have found things I've missed about Philadelphia and the north, but one thing stands strong. Trader Joes.

What's even better you may ask? Trader Joes in SC. Why? Because they sell WINE and BEER. Particularly two buck Chuck.

Now only available at Trader Joes, this delicious $2.99 {so I guess now $3 Chuck} is highly rated. Seriously! See below for some of the awards it's won.

At the 28th Annual International Eastern Wine Competition, Shaw's 2002 Shiraz received the double gold medal, besting the roughly 2,300 other wines in the competition.
Shaw's 2005 California chardonnay was judged Best Chardonnay from California at the Commercial Wine Competition of the 2007 California Exposition and State Fair. The chardonnay received 98 points, a double gold, with accolades of Best of California and Best of Class.

Moral of the story? Don't let cheap wine scare you, especially this winner. I'd personally opt for a red, but after tasting some of the Sauv. Blanc tonight it's a tough call.

Cheers!
